Terms of Service
By using PatchUp, you agree to these terms. We've written them to be readable, not to bury gotchas in legalese.
What PatchUp is
PatchUp is a personal journaling tool for logging and reflecting on relationship conflicts. It is not a therapy service, crisis resource, or mental health product. If you're in a dangerous situation, please contact emergency services or a crisis line.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to use PatchUp. By creating an account, you confirm this.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your account with others — each person in a couple should have their own account if they want to use PatchUp.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
Everything you write in PatchUp belongs to you. We don't claim any ownership over your fight entries, notes, or reflections.
You grant us a limited license to store and serve your content back to you. That's it — we don't use it for anything else.
Don't use PatchUp to store content that is illegal, harmful to others, or violates someone else's privacy. This is a personal journal, not a place to document abuse or harass someone.
What we provide
PatchUp is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that it will be error-free.
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give you at least 30 days notice and a way to export your data.
Pricing
PatchUp is currently free. If we introduce paid plans in the future, existing users will be notified in advance and given the option to export their data before any changes take effect.
Limitation of liability
PatchUp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, if you're on the free plan, is $0).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
